Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the cold half and half and the extract of choice.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your hand.
- Bake for 9 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cooling before icing with powdered sugar mixed with half and half and decorating with sprinkles.
