Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Method
 

  1. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Chop bell peppers and mince garlic.
  2. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente; set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic; mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Add bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for an additional 2 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Drain noodles and add them to the skillet along with the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
