Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped or 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise.
  2. Add chopped dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
