Preheat the oven according to cake mix instructions. Grease a baking pan and pour in the batter.

Bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.

Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.

Mix in frosting until combined and moist enough to roll into balls.

Shape tablespoon-sized portions into balls and chill for at least 1 hour.

Melt candy melts according to package directions. Dip one end of each lollipop stick into melted candy before inserting it halfway into each chilled ball.

Dip each ball fully in melted candy, letting excess drip off, then add sprinkles before coating hardens.

Place upright in a styrofoam block or stand until set.
