Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté onion and carrots for about 5 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (7-10 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, then add peas. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the turkey mixture into the baking dish and spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
