- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and nutty-smelling, about 5-7 minutes. Add chopped sage and stir.
- Pour the browned butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs; add this mixture to the dough and stir until sticky.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently for about a minute, then divide into golf-ball-sized pieces and shape into rolls.
- Place shaped rolls onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
